E-Glide is produced according to an original patent by Torterolo & Re in keeping with technological innovation and style: a vertically pivoting security door which meets the requirements of contemporary architecture from the viewpoints of both functionality and aesthetic feel. An interpretation of space that enhances it and achieves a balanced result: bespoke construction makes E-Glide perfect in all situations, incorporating even large-sized doors into the wall. E-Glide combines the latest design with high energy savings. The special shape of the profiles and the insulation inside the structure ensure excellent thermal transmittance values. Real power makes no noise. The strength and security of E-Glide are guaranteed by Class 4 anti-burglary certification, but its fluid movements are silent and the leaf closes forming a perfect hermetic seal. Concealed hinges and practically invisible frames of the door panel: E-Glide is integrated into the wall producing an exceptional formal balance, transforming the functional aspect of the vertically pivoting mechanism into aesthetic value. E-Glide personalises the home or office thanks to its great expressive versatility. The door can be characterised by geometric elements that bring out the elegance of refined cream white or lacquered colours that produce a play of reflected light, or by the many other well-chosen combinations of material, form and colour. E-Glide doors complete and interpret the spirit of every home: the lines and inserts that distinguish the panel with originality tone down the sober white and enhance the architectural design. E-Glide is innovative also in the choice of materials. The bright shimmering colour of the oxide’s ceramic surface alternates with steel in a panel with a particularly modern and attractive appearance.

Break-in attempts are very often made by forcing the lock, attempting to drill into it, extract its cylinder or tear it away from the door. The locks of our security doors are equipped with 8 pins expressly designed to ensure the maximum passive security.
