Torterolo & Re has adopted special structural features in designing these doors of impressive sizes. This range has been specially designed with double steel sheet provided with strengtheners to resist burglary and remain non-deformable over time and ensure the greatest strength and security. The leaf is equipped with 3 robust adjustable hinges (with vertical and lateral adjustment) operating on ball bearings. The subframe is in 3 mm thick steel sheet with as many as 12 fastening points near the hinges. The various types of coatings – smooth or decorated, in solid wood or aluminium, lacquered or varnished, with iron grating or stainless-steel handles – offer infinite solutions for the ideal complement to the style of every home.
Portali Series doors are available in symmetric double leaves (sizes: up to 280 x 180 cm or 260 x 200 cm) or with single leaf (sizes: 250 x 125 cm or 280 x 100 cm.)

One small key operates the entire locking system; the special large-sized bolts enhance resistance to break-in attempts. The Smart, Excel or Prestige Euro profile cylinder is equipped with an anti-drill and anti-extraction protective device.

Double locking: a security lock with a Torterolo & Re Smart, Excel o Prestige Euro profile cylinder equipped with special Torterolo & Re patented anti-tear, anti-drill and anti-extraction device that blocks the system in case of forced extraction of the cylinder, and a secondary lock with cylinder that is very useful to restrict access to individuals, for example employees: it moves the latch bolt and the locking bolt in order to block also the main lock. On request, the standard cylinder of the secondary lock can be replaced by a Euro profile cylinder equipped with anti-drill and anti-extraction protective device. It is also possible to key both cylinders so that a single master key operates both mechanisms and the service key operates only one. Special large-sized shaped bolts offer greater resistance against break-in attempts.

An electronically-controlled motorised locking system: manual locking is not needed as the door does everything by itself via motorised operation. Opening and closing can be initiated from outside by entering a personal code on the numeric keypad or holding a transponder key to the door and from the inside by merely pressing a button. In other configurations the system can be activated by remote control or fingerprint reader. A further option permits the door to be integrated with the latest home automation systems.
